Relief, Relaxation and Your Brand

If you’re reading this article you may be looking for a way to relieve stress. But, what is stress? To put it simply, it’s that feeling of pressure and anxiety that we experience in the wake of situations we can’t really cope with at that particular moment.

The world of business (any business) is often full of stressful moments. Perhaps a client cannot pay their invoice on time and cash flow is tight, or a supplier is late with their delivery.

Your ability to react and adapt to these stressful situations can make or break a business; stress balls are great for providing a sense of relief when faced with stressful situations. Taking out frustration on a toy is of course much better than taking it out on the employees or on yourself.

If you think of this in terms of marketing and branding, if an object that has your brand on it is frequently associated with relief from daily business struggles, your clients may just equate your brand with stress relief.

You are essentially there for them during moments of frustration. If your logo and contact info are on that stress ball and you happen to offer a service they need, they may also contact you to begin a new business partnership.

As many can tell you, a second sale can be much easier than a first sale. In order to achieve that first sale your potential customers must be aware of your brand. This is why it is important to hand out promotional item and stress balls at events, and send your clients home with them after doing business.

It just makes sense – if someone gets a stress ball and then realises that the little robot stress ball he or she has been squeezing for the past couple of weeks also has information on a company that can help, the robot provides relief in more than one way.

Relief and relaxation are two great things to associate your brand with. They could help you attract new clients and encourage repeat business.

The Elephant in the Room

If you look to the sidebar of this website you’ll see a huge variety of stress balls. We offer the opportunity to place your logo on anything from a car to a hippopotamus.

Why so many choices? -Well, first off there is a choice for every brand. A simple ball may work for a more formal type of branding whilst medical stress balls are great to promote medical services and so on. We aim to offer a stress ball for any and all types of clients, which is why we have so many options.

But what about the hippo? What kind of brand could benefit from having their logo on a zoo animal? The answer may surprise you.

Aside from being appropriate for certain zoological services of course, the purpose of the exotic stress balls in our catalogue is to spark conversation. If one of your clients has an elephant shaped stress ball in his or her office, they have an elephant in the room.

At some point someone is bound to ask “What is that?” This makes it possible for your client (and people who are not yet clients) to initiate a small conversation about your brand. This can further your marketing and branding efforts.

Branded stress balls can be an item that accompanies your client in his or her daily life. If you put one on a key ring they will remember you every time they use their keys.

Integrating your brand into a daily item can be very useful, however opening the door to their own home or car only impacts your client, as he or she is the only one using the keys.

Creating a conversational piece can potentially bring your logo, your brand and your company information to others via the power of social interaction.

When considering which stress ball to choose don’t be afraid to think outside the box. Select one that is new and perhaps even entirely unrelated to your offerings. That elephant in the room may just spark the conversation that lands you a new client!

The Right Place and Time for Promotional Items

They say that when it comes to real estate it’s all about location, location and location. This is not only true for estate agents; it is also true for any kind of marketing strategy.

Location and timing are of utmost importance. Your name needs to be in front of your clients at the right place and the right time. This is one of the biggest advantages of a promotional item. They literally put your name, brand, and contact information in the hands of potential clients. If they receive them at a tradeshow and turn them into a desk toy, they may not call you for several months; but when they need your services, your name and information will be fresh in their minds.

The name of your business and your brand should reach as many people as possible in order to create new potential business opportunities. They should also always be in the hands of people that are already your clients to promote repeat business.

When you see someone handing out flyers in the streets, they have the right idea, however they often have the wrong location. Most people that are receiving the flyers are not potential customers, in fact most are just going to crumple them and throw them in the nearest bin. Your brand name is only powerful if it is in the hands of the right people, at the right place.

Take a good look at your brand and current customers to decide upon a place and time to distribute promotional products.

Tradeshows are one easy answer; you can also give a little something when closing a deal in order to keep your brand in the client’s mind. For every brand there is a special place, and if you find it and put your name there, you should start to see your business grow.
